Frank Gore will blow up in 09

16 March 2009 No Comment

Frank Gore may be the happiest man in the NFL on Draft day if you are to believe many of the leading draft experts who believe that Andre Smith will be available when the San Francisco 49er’s pick at 10. With the additions Smith and the veteran full back Moran Norris, Gore could expect to see plenty of running lanes next season on his way to another 1000 yard plus rushing season. The 49ers could have a top flight offense next season as their young talent and established veterans begin to mesh under the Singletary regime.

The only thing keeping Frank Gore from being in “the best RB in NFL” conversation is that he has been proned to injuries in the past 2 seasons, which has hurt the 49er’s playoff chances and causal football card collector recognition to his overall talent. With the development of Shaun Hill, Jason Hill, and Vernon Davis, Gore will have less pressure on him to carry the load of the entire 49er’s offense. The addition of a blocking FB will also help to limit the punishment Gore saw as the lone back in many offensive formations.

Collectors can easily find most Gore most autographs and multi-color game used pieces for under 20 dollars. Gore will have a big season in 2009 and should see quite a bounce in collector demand if the 49er’s can compete for a playoff spot next season. During this off-season keep an eye on the 49er’s and Frank Gore, there will be a nice up swing in prices if the 49er’s can get off to a nice start to the 2009 season.
